part II of Fiji

We arrived at the airport about 8am in the morning, sort of missed the sunrise in the sky. *dymn* but the warm weather welcomes us! Finally away from the icy cold wet melbourne! Much excited isnt it?
Well, the enthusiasm is pretty much drain in the journey to our resort. Freaking 2 hours+ to reach! So, a friendly tip, unless you're not keen to go for snorkeling and cheap fresh fruits in Nadi. It is recommended not to stay along coral coast. Coz i do think it's slightly far from everywhere.. :/
Anyway~ our long waited sea view is finally here!
Pool view/garden view/ sea view. All in one :D

*dance with Hawaiian coconut costume*

One thing u gotta remember in Fiji, DRINK FIJI WATER! Well, apparently there's alot of celebrity who drinks it, coz it's unpolluted,, yadaya da U know it!  It is cheaper to get them from the local convenient stores than those that sell in resorts!

Picked up this tiny miny coconut. Probably 3ml of coconut water it contains?

So after 2 hours of waiting, (since we arrive early and check in time is suppose to be 2pm, the resort did provide use breakfast while we're waiting. It is fairly rare for resorts to do that. Coz, this means you've got extra breakfast!)
Proudly present you our room! :) Spacious aint it?

With a side bunk bed at the corner. From our balcony you can look through the ocean! Love it!

as we manage to settle down our luggage and wash up. We started out adventure and guess where are we?

The local convenient store! How cute is it!!! hahah They basically have most of the stuffs that u need, snacks, food, shampoo,  etc. U name it!

Apparently, this used to be the airport in Fiji. Korolevu Airport which now has been converted into Shopping centre.

Impressive ey? Say hi to our taxi driver Paris!   It reminds me of my parents' hometown back in Malaysia. Those rustic and old school kind of lifestyle. Where you've got nothing much to ask for and nothing much to worry about. :)

I was rather keen to find for Paw Paw as i did some research before i came to Fiji. Insisted that we gotta have some. So our kind driver, Paris drove further up. And guess what!? Lucky us! Found them within minutes! And we got 1 for 1 fijian each! :)

Our hauls on day one.

Time for the beach! Got our bikini ons. (well just to take pictures) :p

A Paranormal  view of our hotel

Lunch! we had salad. Seriously the sauce taste like. what u can experience in chinese restaurant. Oriental salad!

Did a lil stepping on our boat. Twinny!

After much effort of 'cycyling' this is how far we manage to get to!

CLEAR WATER~

So, we had italian food for dinner. I had some sort of pasta. while Yiyi had Seafood Marina. Flavourfullllll

Some awkwardly friendly resort staff with Kava. which is the muddy looking drink he's holding. Gulp. Didnt dare to give it a try. Coz it's suppose to have some sort of sedative effect.

Typical jump shot. *just to show ma flexibity* ahem

Horse Whisperer

Hi pumpkins!

Melbourne weather is great too! Sunshine and some wind breeze. The fact that autumn is here and yet, you get a day or two of temperature increased to a moderate of 20 degrees! Perfect! How i wish this will last for long!  ;)

It's been 2 weeks plus since i came back to Melbourne. My other home apart from Malaysia. Sometimes i wonder myself.. Being away from home and coming back to 'home'. It feels surreal. It's like, a part of me wanted to stay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Yet another part of me wanted to get back to Melbourne. Some people thinks that studying abroad gives you all the freedom to party wild and stay  away from home all day.. Well, i guess that's not the case for me. I literally stay at home most of the time, apart from getting to uni, working and a few birthday party occasionally..  It's funny how it transform from being bored at home --> to home's good! why would you want to leave?

Im kinky.. I know.. hahaha.. :p  Things change as you are situated in different environment. I can certainly say that I have changed alot since i first study in Melbourne. Growth you can say. Both mentally and physically.. *grin*

Anyhow, I'm daydreaming a bit in this lovely morning and wanted to share a list of photos that my lovely friend Renee Ho shoot. That's why my tittle as above. I ride a horse!!!!!                                               Lots of love from Peanut!

We woke up at 5 in the morning just for this shoot, and boy! it was definitely worth the effort. Gazillion thanks to Kenneth and Rueann for keeping me and Renee accompany. *sniff*

My burgerlab

Longest jam, moderate queue, longest waiting...  however! It's worth the wait! :)
This burger restaurant is located in Seapark. If you go from old klang road or  Sunway. Remember to use Jalan Gasing. Me and my friends were stuck in the jam outside Assunta roundabout for about 45 mins. Not moving at all!!!!! Not good not good!
Luckily, my friend chee Weng is smart enough to escape by using an alternative route. GPS helps a lot! Thank you!! Save up a lot of time! :)

Once we got there, we''re welcomed by the big crowds in the restaurant.. lol.. it's so packed!!!!! We were there at about 8.20pm on a weekday.  That crowd is a weekend crowd!! Not during weekday dude! Unfortunately, not in this restaurant!  *small tips: please go before 6 or.. try your luck!*

I've chosen beautify mess recommended by a friend of my. It was amazing!!
Absolutely love the juicy beef patty and rosemary sprinkled fries! Yummy!!!
Did i mention the delicate amount of swiss cheese they put in? my oh my!

I pair it up with a bottle of fruit juice. A mixture of green apple, lemongrass and rambutan ( a type of Malaysian fruit). It tasted a little sourish and the hint of lemongrass in the drink is yum! However, not most of my friends like the taste. Green apple.. ahh.. my saliva is dripping! heh.. If you're not a fan of fruit juices. They offer carbonated drinks as well, REFILLABLE. 0.0 another reason to go? :)

My lovely high school mates. How i miss highschool.. :/

Chilling Sunday.

Hello peeps!
When I woke up this morning! A thought came into my mind! I've decided to go Melbourne museum! Alone! Well, sounds cliche ain't it? Ever since I got to Melbourne. Traveling alone ain't a problem to me anymore.. I sort of like the feeling, that I'm able to decide where and when to go.. without waiting for others and the transition time of you're with a big group.. gahh.. really hate that! It's like a waste of time for me!! Hmph!
So, as soon as I gotten myself ready. I dashed off to the tram stop and waiting for my tram excitedly! Hop on to tram 35 (the city circle) and off I go! :)
Well.. students in Australia get benefits like this! Free entry!! Yay!
There are a few main sections in the museum.. I was rather overwhelmed with the amount of artefacts I see.. woah.. wow.. ooooo.. that's my expression on my face! Haha..
It's fun to walk around in the museum as you get to touch and play with the hands-on experience setup. I was lost when I enter the animal kingdom area.. the massive amount of animal in this galary was... impressive! The interior of this museum is contemporary and sleek! Though it can be rather confusing when you''re in an area.. at times, I've got  lost.. just couldn't figure out where am I! Haha..
Oh! Not to forget the magnificent secret forest. I think it has an impact on educating people to preserve the forest.. it is very calming in this area..I sat back awhile to enjoy the calmness, love to relax abit and relief my sore legs!  It's amazing to have a place like this near the city, where you get to feel the Zen from the tress.. breathing in fresh air and the coolness from the forest is appeasing!
