Hey penguins!! How's your day been?! :)
It's only Tuesday.. and I'm already looking forward for Friday to come.. >.< though I love my job. As a casual childcare staff... being surrounded by kids for 8 hours a day is fun and tiring at the same time! Just couldn't keep up with their every level. I need red bull to boost up myself!!
So! I went to hardware society for brunch last Sunday with my friend Marcus! Waited for about 40 mins for our seats but it's definitely worth the wait! I like where we are placed! It's right in front of the kitchen! Watching the chef robot.like speed making delicious looking food. Oh my god! It just amazed me! I felt like I'm watching master chef live version! Hehe.. also, I get to see what's nice and what's not.. though I really want to try all their dishes!
I finally decided on baked eggs and Marcus had roasted pork belly. Both of them tasted not bad. But I would have prefer the pork belly! It's tender and juicy! Also, it comes with pouch egg!! Raise your hand if you like pouch egg!! I thought it was rather healthy as compared to fried egg. U get to taste the originality of the egg as well!!!
Also, the French earl grey tea is magnificent! I like the smell of earl grey! It has a unique aroma. Wakes me up right away! :) not to forget the Spanish donut! Its so tiny... I would wanna have more!!!!
After our brunch, we decided to get to Victoria market for Malaysian festival.. I was expecting authentic Malaysian food like kiuh-miuh ( Malaysian dessert) roti canai (bread) and many more. But it's turns out to be quite disappointing.. :/ I tried the coconut water and it is as bland as plain water.. the queue for satay was wayyyyyyy to long. So we didn't bother to queue up for it.. imagine the line was across 5 stores?!?! No way! Other than that, nothing much attracts me.. to call it as Malaysian festival, why not name it as Asian festival? Because most of the stores I saw there is selling Indonesian crusine!! Sigh.. missing home much!!
Till then!
